Amino acids are building blocks of various proteins synthesised in the human body. Immune PowerUp contains the following amino acids and amino acid compounds:

• The amino acid arginine is essential in physically straining situations and improves the immune function. 
• Carnosine, a dipeptide of the amino acids beta-alanine and histidine, which has the remarkable property to rejuvenate ageing cells.  
• Glutamine, an amino acid important for the immune system. 
• Glutathione is a compound of the amino acids glutamine, cysteine and glycine that has powerful antioxidant properties. Glutathione is able to regenerate vitamin C and E and thus increase their effect. In the process of digestion, glutathione facilitates carbohydrate metabolism and has a cleansing effect.

Green tea extract contains polyphenols (so-called secondary plant compounds, found in almost every plant), which modulate and strengthen the immune system. Furthermore, polyphenols are powerful antioxidants that neutralise free radicals and help to prevent cell damage.

Beta-glucan is one of the most powerful natural immune boosters and one of the most important dietary supplements that strengthens the immune system and maintains health. Glucans have a preventive effect, activating immune cells and putting them on alert.
